Verbrugge Invests in a new Eco Hopper

Verbrugge has taken an important next step in the handling of bulk cargo at the Verbrugge Scaldia Terminal in Vlissingen with the commissioning of a new Eco Hopper.

This impressive Eco Hopper, standing 20 meters tall and weighing 220 tons, is a mobile receiving hopper equipped with several dust-reduction systems designed to meet the latest environmental standards.

The entire installation is hydraulically driven and can be easily moved using a remote control. For the operator, a spacious and comfortable control cabin has been provided, offering a clear view of the loading spout.
